 Florida has always been my husband's "happy place". The beach, the weather, the palm trees.

Great childhood memories that he's shared with me and our children.

On one visit, I realized he had collected a bag of palm seeds from a nearby palm (with the permission of the hotel, of course) to bring home and try his hand at growing them.

Once he realized he had a knack for growing, he ordered a variety of seeds and tried his new green thumb with them.

He researched new suppliers and plants for his newfound hobby.

Thus, out of fond memories and a love of plants of all varieties, Hudson Mill Growers was born.

It has become our Happy Place.
