Blackberry ‘Apache’ (Rubus fruticosus)

 

This is one of the highest-yielding blackberry varieties around. Developed at the University of Arkansas, this self-pollinating plant doesn't need a trellis, as its thornless canes are sturdy and upright. It produces large, firm, and sweet berries.
