The California Fan Palm is a medium to large evergreen palm with a tree-like shape. It features a sturdy, columnar trunk topped with elegant, fan-shaped, waxy gray-green fronds that can grow 3-6 feet long. Initially upright, the fronds spread and arch gracefully from thick, spiny petioles.
