Gracillimus grass forms a dense, fountain-like clump of upward-arching stems and leaves. By mid-fall, its foliage turns stunning shades of yellow to orange before fading to beige-tan for the winter. From late August to October, pink to red feathery flowers bloom above the foliage, gradually turning beige as the seeds mature. Both the flower clusters and foliage maintain their graceful arching shape, warm beige tones, and ornamental charm throughout the winter season.
