Livistona Decipiens

 

The Ribbon Fan Palm (Livistona decora) is a striking tropical plant from the Arecaceae family, admired for its graceful fan-shaped leaves that look like delicate ribbons. This gorgeous palm enhances any garden while contributing to its native ecosystem. It produces yellow flowers on a 4-foot (1.2 m) inflorescence tucked among the leaves, which later turn into small black fruits about 1/2 inch (1.3 cm) wide. The Ribbon Fan Palm can endure temperatures as low as the mid-teens.
